DIY Framed Sayings

Here is a simple DIY for you to do!

I found some printables at another blog. I will provide the links below.
I got the 5x7 frames at Dollar General (2 for 3.50)
I used the paint that I had from other projects

Print out this one from here.

Tape off the frame using painters tape so you don't get paint on the glass

The write on it with white board markers.

Alex gets this one. He hasn't seen it yet. But now he will. :)

There you go. Simple enough right? :) Happing DIYing! :) Thank you for reading!

My weekend Instagramed!

Hello! Can I just tell you I am so ready for this week to be over and it is.only.Monday.
exactly.

Anyways, this week is finals week. After today I am already half way done with finals. Can I get a heck yes?! :) I mean what is the point of finals? Seriously, I think it is just to see how stressed out students can get. Okay, I know, that's not really the point but right now that is how I feel.

Yeah, you all know what I mean. My opinion? Just do away with finals :) Yeah that should work.

Anyways, here is my weekend as told through Instagram.
Tropical Sno anyone?

My cousin leaving in his plane for Georgia.

Of course I had to have a picture of him in here. Duh :)

Look for a DIY post to follow for these!
Alex turkey hunting.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I got to see my friend Lisa who I haven't seen since Easter so that was fun! I also dyed my hair and didn't wear gloves while doing it. I wish I would have taken a picture of my hands afterwards. My fingers are still stained and it's been two days. Oops! Anyways, I hope your week goes great and good luck to anyone taking finals! Thank you for reading! :)

Watch these!

So I have stumbled upon a few videos that I believe everyone should watch. I don't usually sit around and watch rando videos on youtube but these two videos are awesome! The first one is great for anyone who is a Cards fan and/or any other teams fan besides the Cubs. Just check it out and you will understand why! :)

See what I mean? So. Funny. :)

The next video is actually a video I have seen floating around Pinterest for awhile but I just have never clicked on it. I am so glad I finally did last night because it is amazing. It is such an inspirational video and to see this boy conquer his fears and stand up and do what he loves is just wonderful. For some reason the people of this video won't let anyone watch it on this site. So when you click play you have to click on watch on youtube ... then you can watch it. And you should!

Ah.Maze.Ing. Am I right?

Okay so I couldn't let this little post about a few videos go without posting the adorable video of Ethan dancing to Skylar Laine singing Tattoos on This Town by Jason Aldean. I mean have you ever seen anyone cuter? I think not
I know, he is adorable. You don't have to tell me :)

So that is all. I hope you are enjoying your Saturday! Thank you for reading/watching today! :)

Friday Findings!

Hello! It is Friday... FINALLY! This week has been so long. Probably because next week is finals and then it is summer! Yes! Although I will be stuck inside working almost every day but I am not having to take any classroom classes, only online. I have never taken any online classes so I am pretty stoked. I think they will be awesome! Anyways, onto the Friday Findings!

First let me tell you that I am slightly obsessed with celebrities. Alright you caught me. It's not slightly it's like a lot. I just can't help it! Their lives are just so interesting... sometimes. Anywho, I love when an on screen couple are together in real life.

Take for example Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. They are adorable! I just love that they are actually together in real life! :)
Adorbs right?

So today I found out that two of my favorite characters from Once Upon A Time (which you should be watching!) are dating in real life! Yay! :) Gennifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who play lovers/Prince Charming and Snow White are really together! No wonder their on screen chemistry is so awesome!

The next finding is these. They look amazing! I mean look!
Awesome right?! Click the link to get the recipe!

The next finding is the fact that you can listen to Carrie Underwoods new album (that doesn't come out until Tuesday) on iTunes! I am not kidding. Look!

Just go to iTunes and click on the picture!

Isn't that great?! Go check it out! And from the sounds of it, it's going to be a pretty fantastic album so you should probably pre-order it too! :)

The last finding is this website and this one. If any of you have recently experienced the tragedy of picnik deciding to join google+ and shut down their website you will be happy to know that I found not one, but two websites that are exactly the same thing! Yes I know, you are welcome! :)

Does this not look exactly like picnik?! Amazing right!!

So I hope you all are having a great Friday! And I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I will be studying my little butt off since I have finals every day next week, booo! But at least when it is over it is summer! :) Thanks for reading! :)

Bubbles with the little guy!

Ok, let me start off by saying I am kind of obsessed with taking pictures of my little cousin Ethan. Alright, maybe not kind of, actually a lot. He is just so fun and so photogenic I can't help it! I love hanging out with him. He is actually very cool for not even being two. So today when I got home from school he was outside playing with bubbles which he loves. Obvi I had to whip out my phone and take a ton of pictures! So without further ado here they are. Oh! And they count as day 2 of the Instagram picture a day because he was always smiling! :)

One of my favorites :)

That is all for today. You got two posts in one day! Aren't you just so excited! :) Once again thank you for reading! It is Wednesday which means the week is half way over and I only have a week to go for classes this semester! Yes! :)

DIY Chalkboard Vase

So at work I usually alwayssssss have something to spruce up the place. It is usually just little paper crafts that I print out from Family Fun and they are usually for the next holiday coming up. But unfortunately there isn't really a holiday coming up for awhile. So when I saw this little number on Pinterest I knew it would be perf for the office! Yay! So here you go:

Supplies used:
Vase (from wal-mart for like $2)
Flowers (fake from Michaels for about $2)
Chalkboard Spray Paint (Wal-mart for $3)
Styrofoam block ($2 from Michaels)
Beads ($3 from Michaels although you don't really need these since you can't see into the vase)
Chalk ($1 from Michaels)

Spray one thin coat onto the vase. Don't do one whole spray at one time, break it up into about 3 or 4 sections and spray like that.

Wait for it to dry then add another coat. After adding two horizontal coats add a vertical coat.

Wait 24 hours then rub the side of the chalk on the whole thing.

Then rub it off with a chalk board eraser.

Testing it out!

The flowers in it! :) I can't wait to take it to work! :)

All together it costs be about $13. You don't really need the little rocks/beads so that will save you $3. Try it out yourself! Thank you for reading! :) I hope you are having a great week!

Instagram - A picture a day

So on the lovely website known as Pinterest I came across a picture that had 30 pictures to take using Instagram. The thing is, you take one each day. I thought it was a pretty neat idea so I have decided I am going to give it a try. Who knows, maybe I'll like it so much I will continue on with a picture a day. We shall see. Anyways, I think something like this went on in the Instagram world not to long ago but I am slow to catch on to things sometimes (obvi). Anyways, enough typing, here is the list for any of you who want to join in on this with me and my first picture! :)

 Found here.

Day 1: Your favorite food.
Ok, so maybe a s'more is not my all time favorite food (in case you were wondering it is sushi) but I didn't have any sushi laying around to eat (darn it) so I made the next best thing, a s'more! :) And check out that awesome s'more maker. I got that for Christmas last year and it is wonderful!

You should all deffinitely join in on the fun with me! Instagram is a wonderful app that every person who owns an iPhone and an Android should have downloaded. Thank you for reading! Stay tuned tomorrow for some fun DIYs! :)
