DIY Cork Picture Coasters

Hello!
It's Thursday
Which means it's almost Friday
Which means it's almost the weekend
Finallyyyyy

Anywho, the next two days are going to be some DIY's because I'm just that crafty
Today's craft is cork picture coasters
I made these for my sister for Christmas
I just went onto her Instagram and printed off some of the pictures she had on there

  The pictures
I made them 4x4 on Microsoft Word

The coasters
I found them at Michaels

 Mod Podge
Obviously
I already had this

I traced the coasters on the pictures and then cut them out

Then I took cardstock and did traced the coasters onto it

 And cut them out

Spread a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the coaster

Put the card stock onto the coaster and then let dry for about 15 minutes
After that put a thin layer of Mod Podge on the card stock and put the picture onto it
Let dry for about 15 minutes

Seal with a thin layer of Mod Podge on top of the pictures

Let dry and then give them to who ever you made them for

Easy as cake
Just the way I like my crafts!

Too many things for one title

It's Monday!
I mean Tuesday!
But it sure as hell feels like a Monday.
At least it's a Tuesday that feels like a Monday and not a Monday that feels like a Monday.
Do you get what I'm saying?

Anyways, first things first.
Today is the first Tuesday of the month which means it's Blogstar Day over at Mrs. Monologues!

To find out a little about me go here, here, and here.
Then head on over to Mrs. Monologues and link-up with everyone!

Sorry if you follow me on there, because that means you have already seen all of these.
But you can enjoy them again!

1. Watching the stripper contest at Wild Country .. don't even ask...
2. I went shopping in my Grandma's closet for some boots ... girlfriend is broke right now and can't afford the black sparkly ones I want

Two totes different people.
I decided I was going to match some people Saturday night

I tried making a colorful cake.
It turned out brown on the top, bottom and sides.
It got thrown away....

I would say I had a pretty kickass labor day weekend.
And I hope you can say the same about yours!
Now I am looking forward to this weekend when I get my next tattoo!

Last on the list of things to talk about today is that you need to head on over here and like my page!
That would be lovely!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Fairs, Friends and Fourwheelers

Hello and happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

My weekend consisted of exactly what the title says.

Friday I went to a county fair.
Usually I go to one a summer.
This summer I have been to four.
Yes, four. And I am sure there will be more.
I got to watch a pig auction.
And make sure I didn't step in cow poop.
But I did have fun :)
I got a taco-in-a-bag.
It might look gross but it is delish.
It has fritos, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.

Saturday I laid out and watched True Blood.
Then went to schedule my next tattoo appointment.
Oh, and spent money I really shouldn't have spent.
Oh, well :)

Then I went over to Lisa's and this is how our Saturday night started out.

Yes, that is her doing a puzzle.
On a Saturday night.
We are awesome, let me tell you.
And yes, that is also National Lampoons Christmas Vacation on TV.
In July.

Anyways, we got so bored we decided to crash a wedding.
Well sort of.
Her parents were invited, but we weren't.
The movie made it seem more fun.

Sunday I went a saw my grandma and got some sushi.
Then I went creek riding with Jake.
Great picture, I know.
He took it and as you can tell I was opposed, but did he listen?
No.
What is creek riding you ask?
You ride your fourwheeler up and down what should be a creek.
But since Illinois has had NO rain since about May, there is no creek.
Just some spots full of water.
So we rode ... for hours ... and got extremely muddy and extremely wet.
Oh, and stuck because Jake didn't listen to me when I told him NOT to go through the water.
Boys and their ability to completely tune a woman out when she is right.
But I do enjoy a four wheeler ride, so it was fun.
It was a first for me and I have to say, if you get a chance, you should deff. try it out.

What did you do this weekend?
Thanks for reading! :)

Me? MIA?

Oh my! I have once again neglected this little blog for a week. I apologize to those of you who read this. I have been quite busy.
Carrie and I took Ethan to his experience his first Tsno. He loved it. Actually, he loved it so much he wanted to eat his, mine and Carrie's. :)
I went to Chicago this weekend and got to watching Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons perform. It was awesome, just like every other time! And before the show I got to meet the cast of Jersey Boys and after the show I met the guy who plays Frankie himself. It was pretty darn cool if I do say so myself. When we came back my Uncle Robby came back with us and so we visited with him Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
I have also had a bunch of homework to do (I promise no pictures of that boring crap).
But enough typing, you'd rather see what I have been doing. Here are pictures from the past week! Most are Instagramed, obvi. :)
Eating breakfast :)

He's hip

His first Tsno!

He wanted that bite :)

Licking it off his arm, nbd.

Chicago!

I was a creep. But they did the color run. And I was jealous. :(

Taking wedding pictures in the middle of Chicago traffic.

The bean :)

Where's Waldo? I mean my Mom, Aunt Cindy and I ... but same thing

Inside the Chicago Theater .. I have no idea if I was allowed to take this. Oh well.

The cast of the Broadway show, Jersey Boys!

The guy who plays Frankie in the Jersey Boys!

Blood orange juice .. sooo good!

My new helmet and goggles :)

So there you have it. I told you I have been a leeettlleee busy. And things are just picking up because Shelby gets married in 23 days! I cannot wait to see all of my family! Thanks for reading! :)
