Friday Findings!

It is Friday!
Finally!
Kidding, this week hasn't been all that bad.
But I am glad it is the weekend.
Specifically for that fact that I love sleeping in.
Take for example, today. Slept until 11. Loveeeeeee
My first is fun, people.

Anywho, I hope you are all having a GREAT day!
Onto the Friday Findings!

This week I have discovered a new TV show. Well, not exactly new to some people. But new to me. And I am addicted.
Good thing I have a friend with all the seasons.
And I cannot wait until this man graces the episodes with his presence.
Do you need another reason to watch?
No, I didn't think so.

In other news, DWTS has announced it's all star cast.
I don't know about you, but for some reason I love this show.
Joining the cast again will be Bristol Palin, Emmitt Smith, Pam Anderson, Apolo Ohno, Kirstie Alley, Drew Lachey, Shawn Johnson, Gilles Marini, Kelley Monaco, Joey Fatone, Melissa Rycroft, and Helio Castroneves.
This year they are leaving the last slot open to voters.
It can either be Kyle Massey, Sabrina Bryan, or Carson Kressley.
Should be interesting!

21 Jump Street.
You need to watch it.

That is all for today!
Have a great weekend! :)

Dream Jobs and Findings and Weekends, oh my!

It's Friday!
Which means weekend time!
Oh hush up Dwight.

First off were going to talk about 30 Things.
Today's topic?
My dream job.
Ohhhh goodness, let me tell you.
To be famous.
To have everyone know my name.
And to bathe in money.
Kidding .... kind of.
I think it would be amazeballs to have Erin Andrews job.
Or to be a host on The Today Show.
I mean who wouldn't want Joe Manganiello to body roll on you.
Or Channing Tatum to do a dance right in front of you.
Yeah dream job, right there.

Now on to Friday Findings!
This week has been kind of boring.

This looks so amazingly yummy!

Want a way to spruce up your bobby pins? This is an adorable idea!
I would probably go over them with clear polish as well.

This ring?
Um, gorgeous.
I love the infinity symbol.

Anyways, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Any plans?

My 3 fears...

It's Friday!
It is also Friday the 13th.
Horrayyy for the weekend!
It is day two of the 30 Things post.

Today is a little hard for me because it is describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears. I don't know how to explain "legitimate" fears. I mean I am horribly afraid of frogs but is that really legitimate? I don't think so. I am also afraid of any other reptile like snakes, turtles, and lizards but I don't think those are really "legitimate" either. I also fear that a killer is going to like sneak in my room at night, or the middle of the day when I am home by myself. But once again, legitimate? Probably not.

I do fear loosing someone I love. I feel like everyone has that fear but it's like hard core with me. I am really close with everyone in my family so the thought of loosing one of them is really scary. I am not quite sure how I got it, it's always been there.

Okay, so because that was a wee little short I am going to do another Friday Findings :)

This little collage of pictures may have just made me fall in love with the color purple for a wedding. It's gorgeous.

This just makes me love the St. Louis Cardinals even more.
The top left is the whole team.
Top right is David Freese and Lance Berkman.
Bottom left is Matt Holliday and David Freese.
Bottom right is David Freese and Matt Carpenter.
Gah, I just love these guys :)

It seems that this trio is no longer going to exist.
Steven Tyler has announced he is leaving American Idol.
Jennifer Lopez has decided it is time for her to go.
Can Randy Jackson not find any other job?
That man has been here since the beginning!
Here's to hoping they find some cool people.
Me, maybe? :)

Well, that is all for today.
I hope you have a great weekend!
Tomorrow is my little sister's birthday. She is growing up.
Thanks for reading! :)

Friday Findings!

Hello! It's Friday! Yippieee!
Tomorrow is my cousin Shelby's bachelorette party and I am so excited!
I even went to buy a new dress for it yesterday and came home with two new pairs of heels instead.
So today I went to buy a dress, anddd came home with one new pair of heels. I think I am developing a problem with shoes. :)
Wait, is that really a problem? Now that I think of it, I don't think it is!

Anyway, onto the Friday Findings!

First I have another favor to ask of all of you. My cousin Heather has a sweet little dog named Gracie Rae.
See adorbs, right?
Anywho, she is in a contest for cutest dog and she needs your help! All you have to do is:
1. Have a Facebook
2. Go to this Facebook page and find her picture then click like
3. Then go to this Facebook page and find her picture again and click like
That is all you have to do! Easy, huh? I am thanking you now for doing this for her, because I know you will :)

So have you ever heard of people being auto-tuned? I am sure you have if you have listened to new songs at all on the radio.
Well besides country music, because that is the greatest music and they don't need auto tune crap.
Anyways, now our beloved Mr. Rogers has been auto-tuned. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself.

Now onto this awesome recipe I found! Look!
It is like a Rice Krispie treat. Only better! Here is the recipe. I cannot wait to try it! Maybe tomorrow! :)
Ingredients:
  • One 16 oz package of Oreo Cookies
  • 5 cups large marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons butter
Directions:
  1. Butter an 8X8 inch baking pan. Line the baking pan with parchment paper letting the paper extend up two sides of the pan and overhang slightly on both ends. Butter paper; set pan aside.
  2. In the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade, pulse Oreos  until ground.
  3. In a large, microwave safe bowl, melt butter and marshmallows in the microwave until puffed, about 1½ – 2 minutes. Stir in ground Oreo Cookies until combined. Transfer to prepared baking pan. Using a piece of wax paper, press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  4. Let set up for at least 10 minutes. Cut into bars and serve.
Yields: 16 bars
Onto more glitter! Check out this picture!
This website tells you how to glitter all things! Like empty candle glasses, phone cases, mason jars, and glass cups. I cannot wait to try this out either! So much to do!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday evening! Thank you again for voting for Gracie Rae! And thank you for reading!

Friday Findings!

Hello! It is Friday! Yayy!

Tomorrow I will be on my way to Chicago to see this man sing...
In case you were wondering, which you shouldn't be, that is Frankie Valli
If you are still asking who let me help you out a bit. The guy who sings the theme song of Grease. Now you know? Good
Anyways, my uncle has been working with him for a really long time now, so we are heading up to Chicago to see them!

My first find this week is this website. So funny! Go check it out!

Another website I found is this one. It is called Dear Photograph and it has people holding up old photos in the same spot of the photo they are taking. If that makes any sense.... if not just look at a few pictures I pulled from there!

Dear Photograph,

Bernice and Zeke fell in love at first sight. It was true puppy love. Even though Bernice has long since passed away, Zeke loves to sit on that same back step, just like always. I wonder who he is thinking about…
                               Kiley

Dear Photograph,
April 7th, 1932, my parents were married in the living room of my grandparent’s home with wedding pictures taken on the front lawn. Last week, after being in the family for 100 years, I sold the house. My parents are no longer here, so I decided to bring them back one last time and involve them in some way for a few last reflections around the property. It seemed like a fitting farewell before I headed to the closing.
Bob

Dear Photograph,
Why did we ever stop pretending we were the Spice Girls?
Codi

Finally I came across this blog from the bloghop I recently did! She lets everyone in on the little secrets of finding cheap make-up that can actually be better then the expensive stuff you buy. She even let us know that CVS had Spoiled by Wet n Wild polish on sale for a dollar! I got six! Check them out!

Well, I hope you all have a great weekend! I will be back on Sunday to let you know how my weekend went! Or I might be back before that to show you how Ethan's first tsno experience went! :) Thanks for reading!

Friday Findings!

Hello! It is Friday! Can you say excited?! I sure can! :)
Oh Dwight, you never stop making me laugh.
So freaking true.

Tomorrow this little girl graduates! So expect a sappy corny sisterly love post about her tomorrow ;-). Maybe .. maybe I won't be so nice. We shall see!

On to the Friday Findings! First up are these awesome looking ice cream cupcakes! If only I had a summer party coming up to make them for! If anyone tries them or has tried them let me know what you think! I can't wait to make them!

Next is this website. And man it makes me feel old, even though I'm not even 21. Ha! Here are some pictures from that site that really made me feel old.

Well this one doesn't really make me feel old, I just enjoy looking at it.

They started 19 years ago?! Danggggg

Steve from Blue's Clues. Never letting my future children watch this show thank you.

Oh em gee. I can't even handle this one

Nick Carter. Gross. Just gross.

Finallyyyy this is what I hope to be doing to my make-up in the near future! I have 4 different bags of make-up that really need organized!

That is all for today! I hope you are all having a great day and have a wonderful weekend! I know I keep saying this but hopefully Sunday night I will have graduation stuff posted! Yay! Thanks for reading! :)

This is going to be a long one!

I cannot believe it has been a whole week since I last posted! I thought that after finals were over I would be posting all the time! I have no idea where last week went! I apologize for the lack of posts in the last week. This week I will be helping my mother get ready for my sisters high school graduation so expect some grad party ideas posted through out the week hopefully!

I missed the Friday Findings, but it's ok because I didn't have that many findings to begin with. Although, this video is pretty awesome. Cute baseball players lip-syncing to one of my fave songs right now? Who can beat that? :)

Pretty darn adorable right? ;-)

My next finding is three books that I started last Monday and I am almost done with the third one already. Can you guess what it is? I am sure some of you can!

Now these books are not for the .. how should I say it ... feint of heart maybe? I am not sure, but if you can get past all of the sexual content in this book the story line is pretty adorable if I do say so myself. I love all things romance though so it's no surprise I fell in love with these books. And to make it even better E.L. James had originally started these books as fan fiction from Twilight. So while reading it you totally see Edward and Bella in the two main characters. I cannot put these books down. I am so glad I caved and bought them!

And now for a recap of my week/weekend because I know you were all dying to know what I did! In picture form of course. Oh, and Instagramed, duh! :)

Feeding the mow cows some cheerios
Riding four wheelers!
His newest toy, which I am excited for because this one I can actually drive
Beautiful sunset
Cloudssss
Ethan being, well... Ethan :)
Alex, Lisa and I at a wedding over the weekend
Lisa and I, she can never look at the camera :) PS. That is a bubble in front of my nose, not a booger!
Happy Mother's Day to my Grandma Joyce! :)
Awesomeness in a package!
My seesstterr. The box girl. This is how she is going to school next year.
Carrie's boyfriend Tony brough over his new dog Tucker (left). Percy (right) wanted to play all night with him. Tucker is some sort of big dog that I don't remember but he can get up to 200 pounds. He is only 9 weeks and is already 15!
My little babyyyy. He was done playing after about 15 minutes.
My Gossip Girl Birchbox came in! Yay!
Tony in his mustache that Carrie bought him.
Little baby Tucker :)

This is an old picture but the dog laying down in front of us was our family dog, Sassy. Thursday we had to put her down and it was pretty hard on all of us I think. She was 12 years old and had lost all movement in her back legs. When she was younger she was hit by a truck and the vet had told us that this would happen. It was sad seeing her having to drag herself around if she wanted to get somewhere and have us pick her up to go outside. So we decided it was time to let her go be in doggy heaven where she will be able to run as much as she wants.

So that is all for now! Sorry for such a long post! I will try not to miss a whole week again! I still cannot believe I did that! I hope you all had a great week/weekend! Did you do anything fun to celebrate Mother's Day? We took my Grandma Joyce to church then to lunch and then took my Grandma Barb shopping and had a cookout at my Aunt Cindy's house. We also got my mom a lamp set she's been wanting so I'd say it was a successful Mother's Day! :)

Thanks for reading! :)
