I failed on blogging this weekend

It's day 6 of Everyday in May

Where are days 4 and 5 you ask?

Well see the weekend got ahold of me and just took off

So days 4,5, and 6 are all on one day

You can calm your excitedness

Although I know you are just jumping for joy to read three days in one

And to see how my weekend went

So here goes this post

Day 4: Favorite quote and why you love it

I have quite a few favorite quotes

One that I have always stood by is "everything happens for a reason"

I have been telling people this since I was in 8th grade dishing out relationship advice

Not that I was one who should be giving that type of advice

But people just kept comin to me for it

I completely agree though that everything does happen for a reason

Now there are some things that I do question why

Like 9/11 or the Boston bombings

Big stuff like that

But little things like break-ups or fighting with a friend

Stuff like that happens for a reason

And sometimes you don't know the exact reason at the time

And sometimes you'll never figure out the reason

But I feel as if God does have a purpose for all of us and a reason for everything happening

The other quote I love is the one I have tattooed on my side

It says "Live the life you love, love the life you live"

I really think this is a good one too because so many people don't actually stop to enjoy life

They are so busy being constantly on the go that they cannot take the time to enjoy life for what it is

Or there are people who are just so miserable with life and complain about things all the time that they don't ever enjoy life

I just want to tell them that life is an amazing thing and there is no reason to be so bitter about everything

This quote also keeps me in check and reminds me daily to be thankful for what I have and to really take the time to just enjoy life instead of constantly seeing the bad in everything

Day 5: I don't have any blogger friends so I am skipping this one

Day 6: If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer the question, 'what do you do'?

Hmm..

Can I say what I wish I did?

Like make millions everyday

Or sleep in and lay around all day not worrying about any money?

No? Okay

Well then I am a full time student

Now pursuing a degree I started out pursuing then changed and I am back again
It's a confusing mess

I also blog, and look at the internet

A lot

I also hang out with some friends and my boyfriend like it's my job

And I wouldn't have it any other way

Now for my weekend update

Which is what I know you all look forward to every Monday

I'm sure it makes your Monday that much easier

As if Monday was already easy

Pshhh

 Friday my mom was watching Ethan so the boyfriend and I went over there to hang out with them for awhile

And as always Ethan was a little crazy man which makes things that much more exciting all the time

 Saturday my little sister went to her first prom

She's a sophomore but she got to go with a junior

No worries, we gave him the talk

Joking, joking

Friday night the boyfriend and I went to the horse track to do some horse betting for the first time every

After being there for two races they canceled the rest of the races due to rain

So we went back Saturday

Because who doesn't just want to go bet all of their money away all weekend?

Saturday was the Kentucky Derby if you were wondering

So everyone was there

And we bet on 7 different horses

And lost

All of them

But there were hats galore there

There was even a wedding party in hats

I didn't wear a hat

Next year, I promise

Anyways, that does it for my weekend and the last couple days of Everyday in May
