When you are me... this happens...

Warning: this may gross you out
Or not
I have an extremely weak stomach
So it grosses me out to look at it
But you may have a stronger stomach
Like if someone makes a lougy sound around me
I barf
If someone spits around me
I barf more
If someone talks about vomit
I barf
If someone.... you get the point

Anyways, the other night (Sunday to be exact) I was watching my lovely Cardinals lose
It was depressing to say the least
When this boy came over to my house
So naturally I went outside to greet him
I also went outside barefoot (what? you don't walk around at night barefoot?)
I also left the door open
So while I was heading back towards the door my uncle started cheering
Naturally I got suppperrrrr excited, thinking it was going to be the Cards comeback!
(It wasn't by the way)
So I ran into the house to see what happened
And I literally ran into the house
Ignore my nasty ass feet
But my pinky toe does not usually look like that
Soooo then my aunt pulled it back into place
Usually she said they give you a numbing shot before they do it
But nope, I'm a badass and took the pain
Kidding, I screamed like a little girl
I hate pain
The x-ray
I don't know how to read it
It just looks gross
Also this was the night BEFORE my 21st birthday
So I got to walk around all birthday on crutches
And then had to sleep like this for the past couple nights
And then yesterday and today I was in this
All of these options annoy me so now I am just going to tough it out in a shoe
I know, I know, it's a baby toe
But listen to me when I say I AM A HUGE BABY
I hate pain
Any form of it
And I will let you know

End of story.
You are free to make fun of me.
You are also free to move about the country
Ha

One More Week!

Until the greatest holiday ever!
Halloween is right around the cornor folks.
Get exciteddddd
So in order to properly celebrate this great holiday here are a few things you need to do

1. You need to go out and buy a costume
If you are a girl (over the age of 18 please) you need to dress like a skank
Sorry, but it's the truth.
The sexy nurse idea never fails

2. You need to go to a haunted house
Just google haunted houses around your area and I'm sure there are some
You need to do this.
It's necessary in order to properly experience Halloween.
Although I did not get to go to one this year, next year I'll just go to two
Usually I go to the Darkness
It's been featured on the Travel Channel and whatnot
It's supposed to be scary
But I laugh
I'm just that tough

3. You need to go to a pumpkin patch
Again, not doing that this year .. unless something magically happens before next week
But I feel as if this is a vital part of the Halloween season

4. You need to eat caramel apples
And lots of them
These I have been eating
 The whole month of October
They are lovely
Here's a recipe

5. You need need need to watch scary movies
At least 5
Preferably 10
I love scary movies
Pretty much my favorite thing
I love being scared
Amityville Horror
Paranormal Activity
Friday the 13th
Nightmare on Elm Street
Saw

And there are many, many more scary movies
These are just a few suggestions

So now, go out and get all of this done in a week!
And then let me know how much you enjoyed it all!
Happy Halloween!

21 in 21 update!

Hi!
So in case you were wondering, I am the big 2-1 today!!
Not that I am excited or anything ... who doesn't get excited to turn 21
Or to have a birthday at all for that matter?
Who am I kidding?
I AM STOKED!
I love birthdays .. my birthday, my moms birthday, my aunts birthday, my friends birthday
I just love them
And when they are a big birthday like turning 16, 21 or 50 I get super excited!

So with that being said let's just take a stroll back to this post titled 21 in 21.
I may or may not have started this a little early buttttt hey, I like to get a head start on things.

I am now able to cross off a few on this list!
Hellllllll yesssss!

1. Celebrate my 21st with everyone I love.
That will be happening tonight and I am sooo excited!!

2. Go on a road trip.
Done and done!
If you recall I took a little road trip over to Ohio about a month ago

5. Go to a concert.
I went to one just a few weekends ago!
And Dierks Bentley stole my heart
Awhhh

6. Get back to my high school weight.
I have accomplished this.
I don't have any before and after pictures.
But I am so glad I was able to set my mind to it and accomplish it.
It is a wonderful feeling.

10. Get my third and fourth tattoo.
I haven't gotten my fourth yet but I did get my third.

13. Take a trip up to Chicago.
Accomplished a few weeks ago!
There will be a whole post on this soon!

Phew.
I have been busy if I do say so myself.
I have a lot left to do and I want to add to this list.
But for now I feel slightly accomplished!
I hope you all have a great day!
I know I will ... but tomorrow won't be so great...

Losing him was blue like I'd never known

"Missing him was dark grey all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met
But loving him was red
Loving him was red"

Oh sorry, did I just sing to you (in my beautiful voice) the whole chorus of Tswifts song Red?
Yes, yes I did
And I am proud of it

She has two new songs out from her album Red that is coming out on October 22 (the best day ever)
And I love them both!

"I guess you didn't care, and I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard, you took a step back
Without me, without me, without me"

There you go, more of my beautiful singing voice.
And now I guess I'll upload the videos so you can hear Tswift sing
Like she's any better than I am.... ha

Here is Red

And I Knew You Were Trouble

I love Tswift
I have come to the conclusion that every single song she wrote was for me
And that they are put out into the world wide web right when I need them most
Like these two songs
 So listen!
And repeat!
Again and again.
Not that I am doing that or anything....

I couldn't think of an exciting title...

Dang, it has been awhile since I have updated you all on my life
And I know you are all curious as to what I have been up too
Since I live such an exciting life and all
I mean, I'm always taking vacations to warm beaches
Or going on extreme trips like sky diving

So, since the last time I posted pictures that you saw if you follow me on Instagram I have been...

Tatum got a hair cut and they gave him a fall themed scarf thing or whatever it is .. it's adorbs
I got my first carmel apple of the season .. actually of my life .. and I'm horrible at eating it
I went and visited my friend Nicholas for his 21st bday!
I've been teaching Ethan the art of the "duck face"
He got a new bow and is actually really good at shooting it!
We went to a parade, he got candy, and I let him eat whatever he wanted
He also enjoys reading the newspaper like an old man .. I try to tell him he's 2 but he doesn't listen
I started student teaching and I love love love it!
I found a website I can watch the Lion King whenever I want .. score!
I went to my last Cardinals game of the season
Anddddd I got caught in the cold rain ... I hate cold rain
These two pictures should probably not be next to each other but you know what, whatev
I made that cake for my friend Lisa's birthday
And we took my Grandma Barb out for her bday and got her that cute little cupcake
Okay, actually the restaurant gave it to her, but same difference
My friend Nikki and I went to the Southern Illinois Country Music Fest on Saturday
We saw Black Cadilac (I did not care for them), Low Cash Cowboys, Colt Ford and Dierks Bentley
We both decided we were going to marry Dierks, and just share him
We have the schedule planned out already
Now all we have to do is get him to agree...

So there you have it
My thrilling, exciting, site seeing, beach going life I live
Glad I was able to share/brag to you about it all!

What is Red October Exactly?

It's the way of life around this area once baseball post season hits.
It's one of the many things I look forward to in the month of October.
Without it, October wouldn't be the same.
It lasted from October 19-October 28 last year.

It's this.
And this.
And this.
 It's also this.
And this.

 It's this video.

I live for Red October.
The atmosphere at Busch Stadium is unbelieveable during the regular season.
It amplifies during the post season.
There is not a better set of baseball fans, nor is there ever going to be a better team.
Win or lose, we are always there cheering on the Cardinals.
If you were smart, you'd be doing the same thing.

PS. I may be getting a little ahead of myself. They just clinched the last wild card spot. But knowing the Cardinals, and the way they can perform, this October will surely be red for the whole month.

My little girl is all grown up

Today marks a very important day in my life.
My best friend since I was born is turning 21.
I think I may be more excited for her to turn 21 than I am for me to turn 21.
No, sorry, I'm not.
But I am super excited!
She has been there for me through everything.
And believe me, we have had our fair share of ups and downs.
She was the first person I had a slumber party with.
And now we will be celebrating our birthdays together.

We went to prom freshman year together.
We She worked out, I took pictures worked out together
Every Christmas (except one year because I had to freaking work at McDonalds and I was not about to show up in that uniform smelling like fry stank) we take a picture together at church
 She ... umm.... I don't know....
We tried our hands at being gangster for awhile
She still thinks she is.
I grew out of that stage quickly.
Bitch stole my crown at junior year prom
She won prom queen junior year and I was so excited for her
 We ran track together.
That's a lie.
She ran.
I laid around and socialized.
 I taught her to dance.
Not!
I tried to stay away when she danced.
We went to senior prom together
Every time we were on a bus, she fell asleep like this.
Or on the floor.
She was there when I tried my first corn dog at a shit hole in the wall.
And I've been hooked ever since.
I was there for her first strike in bowling.
Okay, maybe not her first strike ... and maybe she is actually falling in this picture
But whatev
I'm there to remind her every time she steps out into the sun for more than five seconds to put on sun screen.
Or she turns out like this.
And we were there for when my little sister graduated high school.

Tomorrow night we will be out dancing and celebrating.
Friday night we will be doing some more celebrating.
Actually, I'll be driving her drunk ass around.
But she'll owe me.

Love youuuuuuu!
