What is Red October Exactly?

It's the way of life around this area once baseball post season hits.

It's one of the many things I look forward to in the month of October.

Without it, October wouldn't be the same.

It lasted from October 19-October 28 last year.

It's this.

I live for Red October.

The atmosphere at Busch Stadium is unbelieveable during the regular season.

It amplifies during the post season.

There is not a better set of baseball fans, nor is there ever going to be a better team.

Win or lose, we are always there cheering on the Cardinals.

If you were smart, you'd be doing the same thing.

PS. I may be getting a little ahead of myself. They just clinched the last wild card spot. But knowing the Cardinals, and the way they can perform, this October will surely be red for the whole month.

My little girl is all grown up

Today marks a very important day in my life.

My best friend since I was born is turning 21.

I think I may be more excited for her to turn 21 than I am for me to turn 21.

No, sorry, I'm not.

But I am super excited!

She has been there for me through everything.

And believe me, we have had our fair share of ups and downs.

She was the first person I had a slumber party with.

And now we will be celebrating our birthdays together.

 

We went to prom freshman year together.

We She worked out, I took pictures worked out together

 Every Christmas (except one year because I had to freaking work at McDonalds and I was not about to show up in that uniform smelling like fry stank) we take a picture together at church

 She ... umm.... I don't know....

 We tried our hands at being gangster for awhile

She still thinks she is.

I grew out of that stage quickly.

 Bitch stole my crown at junior year prom

She won prom queen junior year and I was so excited for her

 We ran track together.

That's a lie.

She ran.

I laid around and socialized.

 I taught her to dance.

Not!

I tried to stay away when she danced.

 We went to senior prom together

 Every time we were on a bus, she fell asleep like this.

Or on the floor.

 She was there when I tried my first corn dog at a shit hole in the wall.

And I've been hooked ever since.

 I was there for her first strike in bowling.

Okay, maybe not her first strike ... and maybe she is actually falling in this picture

But whatev

 I'm there to remind her every time she steps out into the sun for more than five seconds to put on sun screen.

Or she turns out like this.

And we were there for when my little sister graduated high school.

Tomorrow night we will be out dancing and celebrating.

Friday night we will be doing some more celebrating.

Actually, I'll be driving her drunk ass around.

But she'll owe me.

My Celebrity Talk For the Day

Let's start off by talking about the fact that it is Monday.

And not only is it Monday, but it reallyyyyy feels like a Monday

Like some Monday's I am okay with it being Monday because it's all "hey today isn't so bad"

But today, this certain Monday, feels like a Monday.

From hell.

Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Onto some BIG news though.

What the HELL was Jason Aldean thinking?!

Um, let me tell you ... he wasn't.

I loveD that man. Emphasis on the D.

Like I want wanted to marry him.

In other baby news, Drew Barrymore had her baby girl last Wednesday.

The news was just announced today.

That's like a thousand years in celeb world.

They named her Olive Barrymore Koplan.

Pretty darn cute if you ask me.

I hate that Charlotte is actually trying to be good and get off the pills but her ass of a fake Father doesn't care about her so he just keeps paying someone to make up false negative reports.

All he wants is her money she is supposed to be getting because Victoria died in that plane crash (that he caused).

But, SURPRISE Victoria is not dead.

Didn't see that one coming....
