In case you missed it on Twitter, the Oscars were on last night. I feel like you shouldn't have missed it though since the most retweeted selfie was taken and crashed Twitter, causing me to have a ten minute heart attack because I couldn't post what was happening at that moment in time. Nick seriously thought I was insane because I was freaking out about my Twitter being broken. Hashtag whatevs.
Last night there were some amazing looking women that were present at the Oscars. Then there were some who I sat wondering if they had looked in a mirror before they left for the night. I mean really, when you have that many people working on you, can't at least one tell you that your dress is not a good idea. And then there were some who made some amazing choices for the after party rather than the actual award show. Here are my favorites between the two dresses these women wore to the show/the after party.
I honestly thought Amy Adam's and Jennifer Lawrence's dresses looked the exact same for the award show, only different colors. So when I saw that she wore this to the after party, it was a given that it was my preferred dress of choice for her between the two.
Anna Kendrick did so much better with this dress than she did with the dress for the show.
I also really preferred Anne Hathaway's after party dress. But can we pause for a second to talk about her hair? I miss her long hair. For some reason I really am not a fan of this short hair on her.
Charlize Theron was my second favorite. I mean seriously, look. at. her. She looks stunning in this dress.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum can honestly do no wrong. But between her two dresses, this one stood out to me. And we are obviously meant to be bests, since we have the same choice in men.
I love this dress that Jlaw is wearing. I think she looks stunning with her hair and makeup and this dress. I don't really know what is going on with the shoes, they are kind of plain, but I am loving everything else. And I feel like this dress might be easier to walk in.
And then you have Kate Hudson. There are no words besides stunning.
Kristen Bell looks absolutely beautiful in this red dress. Her hair and makeup go perfect with this dress too.
In case you were wondering, this is Lady Gaga. Yes, she looks normal. And I think she looks really pretty right here.
I loved this dress that Lupita Nyong'o was wearing. But I didn't really love it on her. I love the form fitting dresses that she has been wearing. I also did not love that headband on her head. However, between the two dresses she wore last night, this was my favorite.
And then there is TSwift. She didn't go to the actual show but she was at the after party. And I really love this dress. I'm not really digging the hair but I think the dress looks great on her.
And now, the dresses that I thought should have been left at home. Or maybe not even made. But that's a little harsh, so I apologize.
I just really don't even know what's going on with Anna Kendrick's dress right now.
This, ladies and gents, is Chris Hemsworth's wife. This dress is not flattering. At all. I googled her, and she is a beautiful lady, but this dress does not show it. I just, I don't even know..
Jada Pinket-Smith is so fashionable, so when I saw her show up in this dress my mind was slightly confused. This is like a weird bridesmaid dress mixed in with I don't even know what.
I don't know who Karen O is and I also don't know what is going on with this dress. But to each their own.
Karolina Kurkova, a former VS model, did all things wrong when it comes to this dress. Please give your grandma her table cloth back. Thanks.
And then Rashida Jones took her grandma's curtains down and had someone make a dress out of them for her, so there's that.
Yes, there were 5893207 more dresses that were beautiful or should have been left at home, but I don't think you want to hear my opinions on all of those. Frankly, I don't think you really care about my opinions on any of these dresses I have shown above. If you're like me, you just scrolled through this post to see the different pictures of the dresses and formed your own opinion.
