A Circus Birthday Party and Other Happenings

Last weekend I headed up north with my boyfriend for his cousins birthday party

It was circus themed

And adorable

The decorations were awesome

Unfortuantely I did not get any pictures of them

But take my word for it, the little boy's mom did awesomeeee

 I got my face painted by the nice clown lady

We also went out to watch the Blues/Blackhawks game

Which ended in my favor

Because the Blues won, like they are suppose to do

Also, April 9 was my pups 5th birthday

I cannot believe where the time has gone

I feel like I just got him and he was this little baby

And the lady told me he was only going to be 6 pounds

But she lied

He's like 20 now...

 Digging into his treats that I got him

Doggy donuts with sprinkles

This makes me sad

Can we have the little Tatum back?

 It's student worker appreciation week over here

And this was my lunch for the day

Healthy, I know

 I discovered these gems at the grocery store the other day

Sidenote: I have cooked dinner four times now
Twice this week so far

I HATE grocery shopping

Incase you were wondering

Anyways, I had to buy the Cubs ones (I know, I know) 

But the boyfriend is a Cubs fan....

 This is what he does at work

Sits on a cart and plays games...

 We went bowling and I kicked ass

 He just really enjoys taking pictures with me

 My breakfast today

Again, healthy I know

These. Are. Amazing.

National Siblings Day .. a day late

Yesterday was National Siblings Day

The legit one

Back in September someone thought it was cool to trick everyone and say it was then

But they were wrong

It was yesterday

So in honor of National Siblings Day let me show you my siblings

Forewarning: the drive me crazy

Sometimes

All times

But I still love them

Keep in mind some of these are wayyyy old ... so don't judge

We fight and scream at each other

When we were younger it was a daily occurrence

But now they have become some of my closest friends

And I wouldn't trade them for the world

Well I say that now .. but wait until they steal another article of clothing from me

Then it changes

So hug your sibling

And tell them sorry for being a day late

Or don't tell them sorry and let them think you're awesome

Easter Weekend

This weekend went by wayyyy to fast

And the only reason I don't care that it is Monday is because today is

CARDINALS OPENING DAY!!!

And this guy is pitching today

It should be an awesome day

Even if the game is at 9:10 tonight

And my bedtime is usually 9:30

I'll make the sacrifice for the game

Anyways, back to this weekend

Yes it went by way to fast

But I did enjoy it

Friday during the day I dyed Easter eggs with my family and boyfriend

He made the "Go Cubs" one you see

And then I tried throwing it away

Because we all know the Cubs SUCK

Friday night I went to Wild Country with my boyfriend, sister, and her boyfriend

Kind of

When we pulled into the parking lot my sisters boyfriend hit another moving vehicle

So they did not stay

But me and my boyfriend did

And then I woke up with a slight headache the next morning...

Saturday was spent building a trebuchet for a school project

I have no pictures

It doesn't work

And I'm sick of it already

Sunday was Easter and it started at 5:50 in the morning

I don't usually wake up until like 11 on the weekends

Sooo I was slightly tired

And may have taken a nap or three during the day

 As you can tell, by mid-day we were getting a little slap happy

 I was very glad I got to spend some time with this cool guy on Easter

He walked into my house and the first thing he said was "Did the Easter bunny come?"

 We took my Grandma Joyce out to eat for brunch and according to her "it was the best day ever"
(My dress and my sister's yellow dress are both from Old Navy)

Today is also April Fools Day

And my mother and sister have already tried pranking me multiple times

It doesn't work

I know all the tricks

But good try guys
